Angie Harmon (born Angie Harmon) is an American actor and model who has appeared on a variety of TV shows and films over the course of her professional career. It began as a successful model before advancing into acting. The beginning of her acting career came in 1995, when she was a guest in the show Baywatch Nights. Also, she does voice-acting as well as voice-overs. At the beginning of 2000, Harmon chose to focus solely on films and quit acting in television series. After a brief appearance in a couple of films then she returned to acting in television series. One of the few actresses in 2008 to have discreetly posed nude for "Allure" magazine. The role of detective Jane Rizzoli was her most significant work on the TNT series Rizzoli & Isles. For her role as Detective Jane, she was highly praised and received awards. Angie Harmon was nominated over these past years for her exceptional performances, but did not win any awards.
